Genepi des Pères Chartreux
Next

Genepi is a general term given by residents from the Alps to several aromatic Alpine plants.

For mountaineers, it is a tradition to harvest these flowers in August and macerate them in alcohol. Each mountaineer has his own "secret" recipe for Génépi.

The Chartreuse Monks, who have been distillers for four centuries, have their own secret Génépi recipe, derived from several macerations and distillations. This unique process allows the Alpine plants to truly explode with flavour.
